ABOUT ME

Drawing on the experience of years of collaboration in both studio time and stage performance i am confident to meet composition briefs and deadlines to a professional standard.

Currently i’m set up to compose, record, produce, mix and master. I am interested in composing for commercial work, documentaries, film and theatre, sound design and music/foley for gaming.

Having played in the Phoenix Foundation for 20 years, there has been many highlights, including playing at Glastonbury Festival, Later With Jooles Holland and a Phoenix collaboration recently with The New Zealand Symphony Orchestra.

Past career favourites include playing on the records of Fat Freddys Drop, Connan Mockasin (supporting Crowded House in Europe, Radiohead in Australasia), Lord Echo, Julien Dyne, Mara TK (Electric Wire Hustle), Eru Dangerspiel and The Yoots. Also collaborating alongside Angus Muir (http://www.angusmuirdesign.co.nz/) and Puck Murphy (http://www.puck.nz/) doing many light and sound installations. I was a participant in Red Bull music academy in 2008 in Barcelona. Recently the work Puck Murphy and i did for the Mauri Activator for the Te Tao Exhibition won a bronze at the best awards.

As a result of playing in many bands with many talented musicians over the years, I have a wide range of musical expertise to call on if a job requires so.

With various incarnations of contemporaries, i can offer many adaptable musical performance options for corporate functions, festivals and entertainment.
